Cairo – Mubasher: The head of Egyptian Natural Gas Holding (EGAS) Mohammed El-Masry said on Thursday that Egypt has signed a deal to import from 43 to 45 cargoes of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from March through 2017.
The agreement was signed with Russian Rosneft, French Engie, and Oman, El-Masry told Mubasher on the sidelines of the Egypt Petroleum Show (EGYPS).
Egypt launched the largest tender to buy LNG in October, which was widely well-received by giant trade and oil companies, who offered to supply the LNG to Cairo.
